Launching this blog has been a growing experience for me since I had little experience with websites and I just wanted to get the content “out there!” Helping me do this were many good friends and family members to whom I owe a debt of gratitude. First, good friends from my Bible study group encouraged me for years to share publically what I’ve been sharing with them. Their encouragement was sincere and beyond mere courteously. Next, several people agreed to critique a few of the first blog posts. These fine folks gave me honest critical feedback that I used to improve what I wrote to make it more suitable for a blog. I owe a extra measure of gratitude to Dawn, Kyle, Noel, Stephen, Linda, Pearl, Ron and Mary and Jim. Next, the knowledgeable people at Bluehost and Mojo Marketplaces who answered the many technical questions of a newbie! Last and mostly, The Lord, who put it on my heart to persist to this point!
I’m launching this first blog post realizing the website is not yet everything I want it to be. I think I could work on it for months and I would still not be satisfied with it! Personal experiences have shown me that life is short and that perfection is a goal to diligently work toward but not necessary to be effective. I know this blog is going to be helpful for me to recall and apply Jesus words. I hope you will also find it helpful.
